Ivo Brendaline Fonyuy is a business executive, financial professional, agribusiness advocate, and development enthusiast with experience spanning accounting, business administration, financial management, human resources, inventory management, and agricultural value-chain development. She is a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Accounting.

She has further strengthened her professional knowledge through several certifications and professional programmes, including Professional Diplomas in Leadership and Management, Human Resources Management, and Banking and Finance.

Brendaline is the Managing Director of Sahanadiva Coffee & Tea Nigeria Limited, where she provides strategic leadership in the areas of business development, administration, operations, product development, market expansion, partnerships, and value-chain development. Under her leadership responsibilities, she is actively involved in advancing the company’s vision of promoting quality Nigerian coffee and tea products through local production, processing, value addition, packaging, and market development.

Her professional interests extend particularly to agribusiness development, coffee and tea production, agricultural value-chain development, entrepreneurship, financial management, human resource development, women and youth empowerment, and the transformation of locally sourced agricultural resources into competitive value-added products.

As part of her commitment to deepening her expertise in the coffee and tea industry, Brendaline is currently undertaking vocational training in coffee barista skills, further developing her practical understanding of coffee preparation, presentation, and the broader coffee value chain.

She has also undertaken industry-focused research and learning activities beyond Nigeria, including a professional visit to China, where she explored tea production, processing, technology, machinery, packaging, and value-chain development. During the visit, she toured tea-growing and processing facilities and engaged with industry stakeholders to gain practical knowledge of international tea production and processing systems.

Within Nigeria, she has conducted learning and industry visits to major tea-growing areas, including the Mambilla Plateau in Taraba State, gaining firsthand exposure to tea cultivation, production, processing, and the opportunities that exist within Nigeria’s tea value chain.

Brendaline is also actively involved in the development of Nigeria’s coffee and tea industry through her role as National Financial Secretary of the National Coffee & Tea Association of Nigeria (NACOFTAN), where she contributes to initiatives focused on strengthening the sector, promoting value addition, supporting stakeholders, and advancing the development of Nigeria’s coffee and tea value chains.

Malam Lawal is a chartered in Corporate Finance and Administration, a Fellow of The Institute of Classic Entrepreneurship of Nigeria (FCEnt), Fellow of the Institute of Industrialists and Corporate Administrators (IICA) and a Member of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) as well as a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Solar Energy Society of Nigeria and Fisheries Society of Nigeria (FISON), Agricultural Extension Society of Nigeria (AESON) and Institute of Strategic Management (ISM).

He has a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc..) in Agriculture, M. Sc. in Agricultural Extension, Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Administration, Master’s degree in Public Administration, a Master’s in Development Studies, and a Professional Diploma in Education. He has attended various trainings of professional institutions within and outside Nigeria, including the Civil Service College Singapore, Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), the Nigerian College of Administration, Center for Management Development, Nigerian Institute of Management, Industrial Training Fund (ITF), etc.

Malam Lawal is the Head of Administration and Human Resource management of SAHANADIVA COFFEE AND TEA NIGERIA LIMITED. He has a special interest in Conversion of Local Raw Materials Resources and Value Addition, Public Policy Analysis, Human Resource Management, and Rural Development.

His over thirty years of post-qualification experience was acquired in both public and private sectors. He was a retired Director of the Administration and Human Resource Management Department in the Federal Service.

He is a prolific writer whose papers have featured at many seminars, conferences, and in specialized journals.
