The concept of Sahana Diva emerged following high-level business engagements, including the Nigerian–Ukrainian Business Roundtable and subsequent global discussions such as the G8 Summit in Turkey. These engagements highlighted the untapped potential within Nigeria’s tea and coffee sector and inspired the creation of a company dedicated to its growth.

The name “Sahana Diva” is an acronym formed from carefully selected letters, representing a blend of shared vision, partnership, and innovation.

Sahana Diva was founded with a clear mandate: to develop the tea and coffee value chain across key areas including production, processing, packaging, importation, and exportation. The company also focuses on enhancing knowledge within the sector by training tea farmers, equipping them with modern agricultural practices, and providing support systems for both farmers and local processors.

As part of its operations, Sahana Diva:

• ● Works closely with small-scale growers, particularly on the Mambilla Plateau

The company has partnered with institutions such as the Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria (CRIN) to strengthen capacity and improve production standards.

Sahana Diva established its first processing and packaging center in Kakara, Mambilla Plateau, Taraba State, while its head office is located in Abuja, Nigeria.

Today, the company exports its products both locally and internationally. Its product range includes green coffee, powdered coffee, roasted coffee, honey, black tea, and green tea.
